Craft PDX Block Party - attracts and engages many

Having been involved with such community visual and performing art events as Craft PDX, I was impressed with the endurance of DeSoto Project participants, Blue Sky, Froelick, Augen, Charles Hartman and especially the event host, Museum of Contemporary Craft. Despite how unhip this is to say, I'll say it anyway. This was a good vibe event meant for all-- drawing people to the North Park Blocks, reminding us of how fine art and crafts can be inclusive and possibly inspire more than a few in one day. We all may not be able to afford the art we and others create, but we can show up and show support for no cost at all.
