Miami Art fairs (part I) by Amy Steel

The part of Southern Florida im staying in is a little resort town outside of Miami called Hollywood, or "Hollywierd" as my friend calls it. It reminds of me of a David Hockney painting with its pastel colors and swimming pools- yes that tiny white dot in the background is a cruise ship.

Fake campfires are totally hot! I saw about five yesterday. Here is one in an installation by japanese artist Shintaro Miyake at Art Basel Miami Beach.

Yesterday we hit the Art Basel Miami Beach fair, bridge and the containers today well go to scope and nova and hopefully aqua tomorrow.
