Current PICA artist in residence Viktor Popovic will lecture on his work tonight in PICA’s Resource Room. From Croatia, Mr. Popovic creates temporal, glowing installations using light, found and industrial materials. His sculptures and paintings create moments of contemplation and reflect his vision of ideal space. Recently he was featured in the Triennial of Croatian Sculpture in Zagreb, Croatia. In conjunction with his residency, Popovic will complete a temporary installation that will be on view at the Portland Art Center next month.
