I reccomend the second half of Internal Guidance Systems show tonight too. It's at Mark Woolley's Wonder space and the 1st half in the Pearl was wonderful. Really a great month for shows in Portland (but May, June, September & October are always the primo months).

I grew up around a lot of outsider artists and Intuit was never far away. I still find that a lot of this work is light years ahead of what Bruce Guenther once described to me as "MFA Outsider art" that is all the rage in New York. It's a perfect description, and I prefer the real thing. You dont get much true Outsider Art in Portland or the west coast but here's your chance.
