Weekend Openings

Dan Gilsdorf's Interiotrope is opening at Disjecta tomorrow. Gilsdorf "creates subtle and mysterious narratives from simple mechanisms." With Interiotrope, he has transformed the exhibition space, "infiltrating the gallery and breach[ing] surfaces which normally delineate interior space."

While you're at Disjecta, don't miss PORTstar Jenene Nagy and Josh Smith's open studio in the Disjecta studio spaces.

PSU's Autzen Gallery presents Heidi Schwegler's first solo exhibition, Antistatic. The exhibition is an ensemble of sculptures in metal, plaster, resin, found objects, and digital media that "ironically and eloquently documents her continuing engagement with personal catastrophe."

Also at PSU: In the MK Gallery, a group of graduate students from the San Francisco Art Institute bring us Bundt. The work ranges from video, installation, sculpture, drawing, sound, to photography. Featured artists include The Muistardeaux Corrective, Kusum Nairi, Sonja Meller, Elizabeth Pedinotti, and Dave Bryant.
