Worth the Trip  This month the multi-faceted John Brodie will be showing new paintings, books, and objects at the Glenn and Viola Walters Cultural Arts Center. Curated by Carl Annala, the exhibit also features new work by Joe McMurrian. Both artists create work on intimate and heroic scale; be prepared to be drawn in and impressed. Although it is all the way out in Hillsboro, I think this will be one not to miss. Opening reception TONIGHT July 11 from 6-8pm. Show runs until August 25.
