Weekly Web Roundup

brlescII1.jpg

Time once again for the Weekly Web Roundup.

First up, Philippe Blanc and Katherine Bovee are exhibiting “LOL” by invitation at Contemporary Art Month in San Antonio at Motel 3 which runs June 30 – July 31. Namita Wiggers of the Contemporary Craft Museum curated the project sponsored by her duchamp ta mere collective. They've already gotten some press down in Texas for their efforts. Just so you know, the journalist has already been corrected about the name for The Affair at the Jupiter Hotel.

Dan Attoe opened at Peres Projects in Berlin on June 23rd.

Looking for something to do on Tuesday night? PICA will be hosting a catalog release party at PICA (224 NW 23rd) from 6-8 on Tuesday July 11.

For your reading pleasure here’s another article about the tram from the Portland Tribune.

Take a look at this article from ultra. It’s a nice, short interview with gallerist Laurel Gitlen. The photograph at the top of the article rocks.

TJ Norris is exploring local artist on artist love in a three part series. I should disclose that I participated.

Ok, here’s something goofy for you. This has nothing to do with anything pertaining to the wwr -so maybe this is the ridiculous site of the week - but does anyone else secretly read the artnet horoscope? Rob Brezny's got nothing on Leigh Oswald.
