craft / painting  Ronna Neuenschwander, "Queen Semiramis' War Elephant," 1982 The Museum of Contemporary Craft presents Era Messages. The museum invited artist and writer Garth Johnson to select works from the 1960s to 1980s that "exemplify particular moments in the history of craft." In conjunction with the exhibition, he'll be spending January 27th & 28th in residence to discuss the works he included in the context of the museum's collection. Pander was born in Holland and moved to Portland in the 1960s.
