Megan, thanks for posting the Lupton lecture. This is the first time she has been to Portland, so it is an exciting opportunity.
I wanted to share that Ellen Lupton also curated the exhibition "Framing*The Art of Jewelry," on view at the Museum of Contemporary Craft through March 23 - this coming Sunday. The exhibition is based on the Exhibition in Print by Metalsmith magazine, which Lupton curated.
There is also an installation in the PNCA library in conjunction with the lecture and the exhibition at MCC - including poetry by Kim Stafford.
She will also be at the Museum on Sat for a Family Discovery Day -- DIY for kids.
